Gambling Online Laws The United States is in the middle of online gambling prohibition. US Congress has enacted a new law entitled "Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act" (UIGEA). Each state is supposted to make their own laws on legal and illegal online gambling. When a state expresses prohibition, then it is illegal in that state. When a state does not make an expression either way, then it should be legal.
